I've been visiting Stacy's blog The Land of K.A. regularly for quite some time now, although I often leave comments for her and take full advantage of her awesome photography tips, I have yet to take part in her meme Theme Thursdays. That's about to change.
Stacy chose Flowering for the theme this week. Here's one of those 8 kazillion pics I snapped this past weekend. Can you name this bush? I tried googling it but had no luck.

Oh, oh...raising hand...I know! I know! It's a purpleleaf sandcherry :) I have one and just love the delicate blossoms that come out in the spring!

I knew it was a sandcherry, too! I thought I told you that before when I was over, but alas. You did not have faith in my gardening knowledge. I hurt inside.

I know you're afraid of overdoing the pink thing, but I think the sandcherry (which, I might add, I knew was a sandcherry, really I did, I did I did) pic would look great in that room too.

Okay A+ for all of the lovely ladies in my life who know what sandcherry bushes look like and a big fat F for me for not remembering the 8 trillion times I've been told. :) Now it's in print and I've written s-a-n-d-c-h-e-r-r-y so many times it will be impossible for me to forget it.
