ANUS!

Did you laugh? Well I can just about guarantee that if you were in grade 5 surrounded by your friends and you heard the word anus you would laugh. I'll be able to tell you for sure in a couple weeks when I teach my lessons on the human body. The hardest part will be not joining the little buggers in their gigglefest. Yep, the digestive system lessons mean "anus" and "bowel movement" in the same 45 minute period. Lovely. I think I'm going to skip out on "bowel movement" and just go for the ever so popular POO.

I wonder what new Google searches will be bringing visitors to my blog after I publish this post.

Dude..I live with an 11yo boy. And until 14 dd went overseas, she was just as amused by scatological humor. AKA GROSS!!

It's going to be a challenge, that's for sure. I figure I may as well just roll with it and turn the lesson into a fun one filled with potty humor (pun intended). At least that way I can giggle along with the kids...

I don't think boys ever really get over the scatalogical attraction, do they?

Hey Gorgeous,
Love it! Especially funny as today the wonderful and hilarious 6 yr-old Scottish twins at my school were writing the very words "poop" on my department head's white board--they are her sons. Their dad is the VP of the high school, and the other day HIS white board in the high school office was covered in "poop" --well, the word--by his lovely kids. Too funny.
And, it's "ka-ka" in Russian.
Good luck--can't wait to hear about it!
Oh, and I hate to admit that I've gone to Starbucks a few times since being here. (re: your comment on my blog)
